ABOUT ABOUT

Tyson Motsenbocker spent his formative years in the Pacific Northwest, relocating to Southern California in the summer of 2010. After the death of his mother, Motsenbocker walked the 600 mile stretch of coastline between San Diego and San Francisco, a journey which would be the genesis of his 2016 full length LP "Letters to Lost Loves." Fresh off tours with Switchfoot's Jon Foreman, Yukon Blonde and Judah and the Lion and the release of two EP's "A Kind Invitiation" and "Almira," Motsenbocker returns to the West Coast for his first full band headlining tour.

John Van Deusen was probably best known as the front man of Northwest rock and roll band "The Lonely Forest." After nearly ten years on the road, touring with the likes of Death Cab for Cutie, and winning NPR's best new artist award the Lonely Forest went on an indefinite hiatus. Van Deusen retreated to his Anacortes home to get married and start a quiet life among the pines and ocean air of the Puget Sound, only to reemerge four years later with a baffling four LP's of solo work and a bright future.

Matthew Wright is an Atlanta native, spending most of his days playing keys behind David Ramirez and others. Wright's knack for profound and engaging songwriting is often best appreciated at it's most simple, alone behind a piano. Songs like "Everyone's Doing Better than Me" and "Busy" display his humorous side, while "Public Tranportation" and "The Righteous Stand Alone" show his ability to view the many facets of individual humanity, and articulate them beautifully and honestly in a complete picture.

Motsenbocker, Van Duesen and Wright perform Cafe Mela in Wenatchee on April 23rd 2018.
